Literacy apps created for all learners, including multilingual, English learners, and students with reading difficulties, including dyslexia.
Grounded in current, evidence‑based reading science and synthetic literacy, they build foundational skills step by step with simple, low‑distraction design and targeted supports. Timed, engaging games turn practice into achievable “chunks,” helping students experience success, build confidence, and truly believe, “I can do this.”
Dysléxito apps are designed to support the foundational skills that struggling readers actually need.
Built on:
Created by a therapist and reading specialist specialized in multilingual and special education students.
Designed for:
Learn, review, read, match, spell, and apply with activities from the five pillars of literacy:
* Phonemic Awareness
*Phonics
* Fluency
* Vocabulary
*Comprhension
Plus, orthographic mapping and spelling!
*10 minutes a day are recommended; however, we ara aware that your kids will want to play longer in order to keep playing "Beat the Clock" (the favorite fluency activity).
Mastering the six syllable types is one of the easiest ways to turn “I can’t read that” into “I know how to figure it out.” When kids learn these patterns through quick lessons, matching games, read‑and‑spell practice, sentence work, and fun timed challenges, big words stop being scary and start to feel predictable. Great for English Learners & students with dyslexia and other reading challenges because it gives them a clear plan for breaking words apart—while the game‑style activities keep them engaged long enough to make real progress.
Closed Syllables – Open Syllables – Silent‑E – Vowel Teams – R‑Controlled – Final Stable Syllable

For more than twenty years, we have lived bilingual education, dyslexia intervention, and structured literacy in real classrooms and clinics. Our founder, Juliette M. Betancourt, is a Licensed Dyslexia Therapist, Certified Academic Language Therapist, Certified Reading Specialist, and Master Reading Teacher with advanced study in the United States and Spain. She has taught, led, and mentored across K-12 and higher education, which gives our work a rare, full-spectrum understanding of how diverse readers learn.
The story of Dysléxito begins with a hard truth, bilingual and English learner students with dyslexia are among the most underidentified and underserved children in our systems. After years as a bilingual teacher, interventionist, and dyslexia therapist, we saw families and educators searching for answers that honored both language and learning differences. Dysléxito exists to change that pattern and to place specialized, science-based support directly into the hands of those closest to the child.
Every webinar, mentoring session, and app we create is rooted in the Science of Reading and structured literacy, and it is equally grounded in deep respect for multilingual learners and their families. Our work spans between clinical expertise and day to day classroom reality, connecting evidence-based practice with culturally responsive support. We design tools that feel clear and hopeful, so educators and parents can move from uncertainty toward confident, compassionate action.
